Below you will see a list of the main places that you will visit whilst on tour, however there are always some hidden places that we may also stop at for the most part other tours do not go there. We also may see some Hairy Coo’s (Highland Cows) along the way and maybe the local Red Deer. At Rogie Falls during July, August and into September you will see the salmon leaping up the waterfalls which is a spectacular sight.
Your first stop is Beauly Priory, a serene 13th-century ruin nestled in the picturesque village of Beauly. Stroll through the tranquil grounds and marvel at the ancient architecture, imagining the monks who once called this place home. Here we will grab a take away coffee from the very quaint cafe The Cafe on The Corner.
Next, we visit Rogie Falls, a stunning waterfall set amidst lush woodland. Take a short walk to the viewing platform to witness the cascading waters and, if you’re lucky, spot some salmon leaping upstream during the migration season.
Continuing our journey, we arrive at the Lochcarron Weavers. Here, you can observe the traditional art of weaving tartan and tweed. Learn about the rich history of Scottish textiles and perhaps purchase a unique keepsake to remember your visit.
Arrive in the charming village of Plockton for a delightful lunch.
