Begin your adventure at Urquhart Castle, where you can explore the ruins of this historic fortress and take in the breathtaking views of Loch Ness. Next, visit the charming village of Invermoriston, where you’ll cross the picturesque old bridge and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
The day is not complete without a stop for lunch in Fort Augustus for a traditional pub lunch.
Continue to Fort Augustus, a quaint village at the southern tip of Loch Ness, known for its impressive lock system on the Caledonian Canal. Here, you can stroll along the canal and watch boats navigate the locks.
After lunch we venture around the end of lochness heading up the hill to take in the amazing views of Fort Augustus. As we continue to head into the hills we stop at the amazing Suidhe Viewpoint for a short walk to the top of the hill to take in some spectacular view. We then Journey to the Falls of Foyers, a spectacular waterfall cascading into a deep gorge, offering a perfect spot for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike. Finally, unwind at Dores Beach, a serene location with panoramic views of the loch, ideal for a peaceful walk or simply soaking in the natural beauty.
