We highly recommend booking your private shore excursion from the cruise terminal in with Ryan from Sgurr Tours. Our guide, Iain, was fantastic and spending the day with him is one of our favorite memories from this trip. He was wonderful, patient and very accommodating to our elderly parents. Photo stops at Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness, a visit with some Highland Coo’s, a very impactful visit to the Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns, yummy lunch at the Battlefield House Restaurant, and a tour of the beautiful Cawdor Castle to wrap up our day.
Sgurr Tours communication was perfect (shout out to Ryan), the van for transport was neat and tidy, and Iain was knowledgeable, professional and personable. We truly enjoyed our day and our experience while in the Highlands! Thank you for being so helpful!
